Half of Melbourne's C-Bus systems have nobody left to call. We take them over, connect the intercom and the awkward corners, put everything in one app — and answer the phone for $29 a month.
Between 2003 and 2015, tens of thousands of Melbourne homes were wired with Clipsal C-Bus. The hardware is still excellent — 20 years on, most of it is still switching. What disappeared was the dealer who programmed it, the app that talked to it, and the phone number that answered.
Clipsal became Schneider. Local dealers closed or moved to new-build. When a dimmer dies now, the homeowner is told the whole system is "end of life" and quoted a replacement. That is almost never true.
“Ten out of ten C-Bus owners I visit have nobody looking after the system. Not one of them was told who to call.”
WIS Living, after 200+ Melbourne site visits
A real Melbourne switchboard, installed 2009. Still running. Nobody had opened it in seven years.
You do not need a new house. Most Melbourne homes already have half of this — we join it up instead of selling you another app.
Your existing Clipsal or Schneider C-Bus on iPhone, iPad and Android — plus repairs, module replacement and a care plan. No rewiring, no new switch plates.
C-Bus services →Hikvision and Dahua door stations — see who is there, talk, unlock the door or gate. On the indoor screen and in the same app as the lights.
Intercom systems →Plugs, blinds, hot water, towel rails and garage doors where the wire never reached. Retrofit behind existing switches — no chasing walls.
Shelly & smart switching →WIS alarm panels, cameras and access control on the same timeline, so one incident reads as one story — not four apps and a phone call.
Security by WIS →The whole point of an integrator is that you stop switching between apps. Lights, door, plugs and cameras live in one place — one login, one language, one history.
No “smart home packages”. Specific work, specific prices, and a phone number at the end of it.
Your existing system on iPhone, iPad and Android. Rooms, scenes, schedules — keypads stay exactly where they are.
Dead circuit, flickering light, module alarm. We measure the bus and name the failed part — with its serial number.
Original installer gone? We read the project, rebuild the database and document every room, circuit and scene.
Hikvision and Dahua door stations, indoor monitors, gate and door release — installed and joined to the app.
Smart switching where there is no C-Bus: plugs, blinds, hot water, garage. Installed behind existing plates.
A daily check on voltage and trends. We call you before a light fails, not after — with the part already on the ticket.
Most homes are finished in a day. Nothing is disconnected before the new control is tested.
Thirty to forty minutes. We read the existing system, count channels, check the interface and tell you honestly what is worth connecting — and what is not.
Three to five hours on site. We connect, program, name every room in both languages and hand over the app working — not half-finished.
A daily system check watches voltage and trends. When something drifts, we call you first, with the part and the serial number already on the ticket.
The app is included. The monthly fee is the service — a person who watches the house and answers the phone.
Installation from $699 by C-Bus channel count. Full pricing →
Almost never. C-Bus is still made and supported by Schneider Electric as SpaceLogic C-Bus. What usually disappears is the local dealer who programmed it. The modules, keypads and wiring are usually fine — we measure them before recommending anything.
No. App control connects to the C-Bus network that is already in your walls, through the existing PC interface or network bridge. The only extra work is at the switchboard.
Yes. Hikvision and Dahua door stations run alongside C-Bus, so the door camera, the unlock button and the hallway light sit together on one screen.
Then we usually start with Shelly behind your existing switches — genuine smart control without pulling new cable — and add C-Bus later if you want a wired backbone.
Free 30–40 minute check across Greater Melbourne. Send a photo of your switchboard if you are not sure what you have.
